Radio Maintenance for many years in USAF. Worked HF issues all day long and just didn't have the spirit for it after work. Did maintain the KWM2s for MARS, though.

My dad was a ham as well, from 1948 till his death in 1977. Victor Echo 4 Japan Queen. I was just a kid but I remember that call sign like it was yesterday.
