I don't have pictures of it. But theres a really badass '30-'31 truck I saw recently that was purple. I think it had silver or chrome solid wheels, whitewalls, slicks, swept frame painted white, anyone have a picture?

This is a ''T'' I did for a Hamber... he wanted purple, I was bummed, but then went nuts with it. Really think white sets it off right.

 

That roadster is slick. I saw it at the Tampa NSRA show in 07 and 08. When I saw it I thought it was a survivor but he told me it was a fresh/new build just done in the old style

Saw this 38 at El Mirage last Saturday. Didn't see the owner so I don't know what powers it, and didn't see it make a run, but the tags on the dash have it clocked at 157.9 @ Bonneville.... And a 11.22 E.T. at the Drags.

My ex 55 Buick. Bought already built, I just added a few stripes and the guy I sold it too added the carb set-up. Sold it about 10 yrs ago to pay for daughters wedding. Somewhere in Austin last I heard.

im working on a purple one! its the krylon can thats just called "purple".

 

Never would have believed it, but this car and color attracted more damn "skirts" than any other car I have driven. Some elderly gentleman, "in da hood" said it looked like Barney the purple dinosaur, so that name has stuck. After I did a bunch of work on it, I drove it all over town and the chicks really dig it. Of course it belongs to my friend Jimmy (Ill Gimmi) Has since made the trip from Orlando to Phoenix, where he too has experienced the same cat calls from chicks admiring his fine ride. I'm now thinking about painting my 64 Starfire the same color.



For the farewell ride Ms. Toni even matched her pedicure to it!
