Congrats... beautiful ride for sure.
700-16s work great on the rear of a '40.
The 7.50 off and 6.50 on- looking at this I think the 7.00 will look great!
Cleaned it up a bit this evening-
2bubbas what do you use to clean your flat black Tom
Sweet Patina Sauce! You can Google it! First time I've ever tried it!
Nice looking coupe !
Photo of engine. 350/350 Ford 9 inch.
Love that thing. Nice interior too, looks like your pup made herself right at home!
Nice looking ride !!!!
I would dress up the SBC to look like it came out of a 59 Impala.
Not my pup. Former owners. Interior 1/2 done. I need to finish.
Congrats, that's a bitchen car!!
finished some more of the interior- headliner to go yet-
for now painted the billet gauge cluster- used left over in the truck-
I like the dash area; I'd be happy to drive that.
Sanding all the runs, sags and orange peel out of first attempt to freshen Satin Black-
Maybe should hire a pro but I'm bull headed-
I'll get it done-
These are Firestone 7.00-16 on my 39 std. Just right I think. They're on rare commercial wide 5s with a 5" rim width. The offset compared to the 3 1/2" wheels is kool. In the top pic, although jacked up, it's loaded. In the bottom pic it was lowered with long shackles and has since been raised to where the top shows. Yes, it's a minor cussing moment to remove them, best to raise from the frame for that. Kool 40, good for you. I'd be tempted to put the 40 lights back on too but you didn't buy it for me
^^^^Love it just the way it sets^^^^
