Got the motor between the frame rails and tacked a few supports together to hold it in place. Pretty sure It will need to come up a little higher.

I need to order an adaptor to keep moving forward. Any recommendations on a brand. I am looking at HotHemi, or Wilcap.

Another pic. The Ronco Mag is NOS craigslist find with wires and ceramics ends.

Definately will be advertising my louvered hood sides:D. I think I may order plain jane sides, then come up a combination of blisters and louvers or maybe louvers and clearance opening.

  10. That's looking nice ! Why would you want to cover up that big ol hemi anyway ?

  11. Hood sidez?? You don't need no stinkin' hood sidez man!

I had inquired on it, but the timing wasn'y right ( I had car for sale at the time). I like my 5 window but I really like a three window..

Been a little slow going for the last several weeks. Chassis x-members are in, I went with a Wilcap Adaptor which is real nice.

Decided to check Header clearance, I wanted full length and it looks like I will be OK for space and fit. I may need to shorten the collectors a little to clear the lower tube on the "X". I may move the motor forward another inch.

Bottom of the headers are at the same height as the hairpins

Covering up a hemi is just plain wrong. Same thing as making your wife or girlfriend wear a burka.

    Ok,
Motor mounts are tacked, motors out, should get the steering mount in next weekend ( May pick up different one at the swap meet).

Need to take some vacation to finish up welding the chassis and get it blasted and in primer, and paint.

I need to do a body fit and get the column in, hole cut for the pedals, and shifter.

I dug out the dash to plan the gauge layout, and the window moldings so I can cut them.

They are from Hot Heads, I came across them in the classifieds, but I am pretty impressed how nice they fit.
