    I doubt if the rear door hinges can be used on the front. Like you say, different part numbers.
  2. That is one of the misprints in the article. I was talking to Brad about the front hinges of a four door. They have a better chance of not being worn out, less weight on them due to shorter doors and nobody hung on the door trying to get into the back seat. The BACK hinges WILL NOT work on the front. I read that too!!! Nice catch!!!!

    you need to do some photoshop on that pic with the turn table. A little little black and white and a Mercury dealer sign...The all new custom mercury for 1951!!!
