Looks good and looking forward to the updates. Keep track of the parts in case Miller wants to "restore" it back to the way his dad built it when he gets older.

Other than the blower, what are the plans for the Y-block? Are you considering Mummert's new heads? From what I can tell they look just like iron heads when you paint them, and man they flow. This is mostly a shameless push on my part because I'd love to see a documented blown Y-block build with the Mummert heads.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with them, website here: http://www.ford-y-block.com/

I'd love to, but I spent all my money on blower parts.

As you have pointed out, we march to different drummers. Specifically, in this case:

    - When you first said that you were considering updating the '38, I wrote "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

    - I pled for keeping the distinctive look of your car unchanged; sounds like that won't happen either.

    - I wouldn't choose a Y-block for a new build.

    - I wouldn't take out an IRS to revert to a beam axle.

On the other hand, I completely trust you and Keith to devise something interesting and original. I look forward to reading of further developments.

You and I are always on the same wave length it seems... And yeah, we are gonna try to cut up one of Aaron's tops. More on that later.

We do... But that's what makes it all pretty great really... Maybe I'll slap a set of 80's era Iroc wheels on the car for ya! :)

    A Ford in a Ford...Ryan sucks.

  12. Just so happens I have one of Savage's 6x2 tops on the wall as well since we couldn't get to a deal on the 4x2. Let me know if you don't have one to cut up. Since it is just the top I am sure we can get lined up on that.

Let's see some blower pictures - what parts have you got collected????? What's your plan for the pulleys?
