    Sweet project

I'd throw some rags under those drums, those fins break really easy, and kills their value.

  2. You're going to be better off financially looking for the truck bellhousing and starter plate and getting the adapter from speedway or someone, rather than buying a brand new fabricated bellhousing.

The first transmission is a model A, the second one is an open drive truck transmission. The third one might be for an inline 6, not sure. I'm going off of the starter position on it.

The loose bellhousing you have looks like it might be model a.

The water pump you have is for a car, with different mounts than you'd want for easy mounting in your frame. What you're looking for is the truck pumps that have a different mounting scheme, set up to use the vertical doughnut mounts. To get the correct ones, determine your pulley width, and shop from there.

Cool project! Wish I had your room to work!

  6. lookin good! just curious...what radiator did you get?

  7. I've got a 4" channel, no chop and a visor and am thinking about a 4" chop, but it's really gonna restrict my vision and I already have the seats on the floor. But a top chop would definitely look good. I drive mine all over hell and am not sure I wanna jeopardize any more vision,...... yet. Oh yeah, and I don't wanna can the visor.
