I just put the hood on, rear bumper, tacked the tail, and gonna put her away till the april swap meet. I know it looks like a realy Fuc%#$ up trunk to all you not unexperienced body men, but the pros look at it and say, well aagh they say the same. O well nothing a week and a gallon of kitty fur wont fix. I will post it up again when I get all the trim back on, and the skirts fitting better. O yeah I moved the wheel wells up about 3 3/4 inches now she can drive whle being all the way down on the snubbers.
Hey, That chop has a great flow and line to it. Take a Major bow!! As far as the deck lid goes.....ya had ta do what ya had ta do. Like an ol' metalman buddy of mine says: " a little putty' n' paint makes a bodyman what he ain't" I think that is one killer chop.
I was lookin at your pics thinkin' to myself.. "ok, it looks like those front wheel wells are higher..or maybe he sectioned it somewhere.." but i knew the rest of it didn't look sectioned...haha It fools the eye's nicely.. The car looks cool.....
The roof and the trunk are all one piece on a fleetline. Its a hell of a lot more work then a sedan or coupe.
That looks really nice man...very nice flow to it. And I can't think of a better idea for cutting the decklid, so congrats on that too.
K C, ferget the Bondo! When I chopped the Merc, I left all the welds showin. This way the BOZOs can show there BOZO friends how EASY it is to chop a car, (Without really doin it)If you drive a chopped rod you have met these BOZOs!!!!...LOL........OLDBEET
