Thanks guys, been a long wait for painter, but I'm getting revved up to go the rest of the way now....still unsure about interior colors though, hope that doesn't take 6 months....

Pleated white seats and door panels with trim/accents in black piping, with black carpet. Or, maybe, alternating white and burnt orange pleats...

  10. Will a shop take care of your upholstery or whats the plan for that?

Thanks guy's. I am looking for an upholstery shop in so cal that can beat 8500 quote I was recently given

  12. Bummer, and I thought prices were high this side of the pond, 8500 sounds quite steep since this is not a fullsize vehicle. Hopefully you'll get more decent offer somewhere. Can't wait to see this MoPar build moving forward, so nice.

Thanks so much! I think the guy that quoted me is crazy, or thinks I'm made of money. Lol

Why not take it across the border to Mexico for the upholstery? Lots of threads here on good jobs received from there at really low prices.

Well after talking to a few more upholstery guys at the grand national show, apparently 8500 is in the middle of the ballpark, I got quotes from 7 to 12k.....whoa

Wow, for a coupe. I would hit to see the cost on a sedan. This is why I want to learn how to do it myself. That probably won't happen though. Sounds like these guys have been watching gas monkey garage to much and charging the Asian ladies prices.

What an exceptionally awesome looking car Mark! I love everything about it, from the colour to the Hemi! This is one great looking Mopar. I'm impressed.

So is it a custom color that you had mixed just for you?

Thanks Finnish Fireball and farmer12! Yes the color started out as a stock 2013 Harley Davidson candy orange, but the more we played the more we felt it needed a bit more pop, we got that with some more pearl and fine gold flake....I'm anxious to get pics out in sun....

  29. What a bad-ass hot rod.

  30. I'm sure a lot of guys will see this image after you blow past them! :D HRP
