Product Review Request - Machinist's Vise from Eastwood Co.

Do any of you use one of these? Is it good? Is it crap? I want to get one for my dad for X-mas. Eastwood's item number is 11918 in case the link doesn't work.

a friend of mine had one for his drill press and i messed with it a little. it is great for positioning your work to line up a hole to drill it acccurately on center ,even tough it was a little sloppy . to use it as a milling table it is poor. it will work , but i would be afraid of what the side loads would do to a drill press spindle

 

Is there a lot of lash in the worm threads? The primary use will be on a drill press table, I doubt that it will ever see a mill.
