Very Cool Truck! ... it's got a serious attitude!
Love the Good Years... but like you said, not very DOT.

Tell us what you did to the body. Lowered of course but sectioned? Chopped?

Sinister looking, you have created a real head turner there. Very cool concept.

  4. rims are late model stock car wheels 10" on the rear and 8" on the front

  5. I'd hate to see that truck in my mirror!! Good job, wild ride.

  8. My avatar is my current ride, as I'm getting older (pushing 70) I'm getting shorter, starting to fit in the truck better.

  9. I'm pushing 70 also and know first hand about room and comfort. thanks for your comments. John

John thanks for directing me to this thread. As I said over on the "Friday Art Show" this truck is really cool. The look is unique and somewhat intimidating. Love it.

Will your front tires rub on the fenders when you turn?

Very nice job. The fenders and big tires look so, so good together, and I think you need some chrome rims with your new tires! Can you post more build shots? Going to paint it or is this the final scheme? Later, Gary

PS here is a dirt oval-ish truck some friends down here built. They build and repair stuff for the guys in the Tampa area who race at East Bay. It would be neat to see them parked together some day. LOL DSC_7277aW2000.jpg DSC_7278aW2000.jpg

  16. John,...I like your truck, lots of work in that. Here's a 48 my nephew is doing an "easy" build on, nothin fancy like yours. .no motor/trans yet...I've always liked these trucks as they have a style all their own. (PS,...always like your Friday Art posts)
