    I have 2 Carter AFB's is good condition I got today .
My problem is to what engine they were on . The guy told me a 318 but I don't think so !
The numbers I found are as follows 3213S the other 3213S
Under the first number F5 & B5 under the second number
I believe they are a matched pair .
Can anyone help or tell me where I can find out what they are for .
I think they are for a Hemi or 440 .
Any help will be great !

    Thanks,
    Jim

Doubtful they were on a 318 - I'm not a mopar expert, but I'm pretty sure Chrysler vehicles used AVS rather than AFBs on their early cars - only non-hemi car with 2x4 I'm aware of is the old V8s (350?) in 58 Fury. Have you tried a Holley website to look up those four-digit (list) numbers? Should give you your answer right away.

i found a site that says the carbs with that number was use on a 318 marnie engine.also found that in the late 50`s there was a wide block 318 that had 2x4 `s on them.maybe thats what their off of.which ever i would think they are for a 318.

  9. Just send them carters right on over to me, I'll let you know what they came off of, I'll send you a pic of what I put them on ! That will solve your problem and you wont have to bother all these nice people any more, everybody will be very happy, problem solved.

Any idea on what they are worth ? They were rebuilt many years ago and are in good condition and not all rusted up and everything moves free .

I really need to know if i paid to much or not .

    Thanks again ,
