It was a nice sunny day in Kansas today and I drove around enjoying the beginning of Spring. I get to see alot of cool stuff sometimes in my job and today I had a chance to take my lunch break at a personal junkyard collection where the owner let me roam around with my camera. Since this place is not open to the public and is not an operating salvage yard I will not name the owner or his phone number as there are too many thieves that would like to visit the place. If you see something you might need and are a serious buyer you can send me your phone number and I will pass it on to the owner when I get time. Otherwise, enjoy the photos. I had fun taking them. PLEASE NOTE--no matter how solid they look in the photos these vehicles are very rough and quite rusty except some of the big trucks. <center>

We don't see many Divco milk trucks in this part of the country so that was fun to look at. Bottom of rear doors rusty but overall not bad. <center>

I took photos of this snow sled for my pal Engine Pro 5X who knows a little something about going fast in the snow. Kind of a crude old machine but I liked it. <center>

I love walking through these places and looking at what used to be someone's pride and joy, trying to imagine the good times and bad times that happened in these old hulks. Its surreal to be very quiet around these once noisy machines so that all you hear is the wind-blown tall grass that grows around them.

    Maybe I'm a little weird.

Very cool - thanks for posting.

Those yards are getting harder and harder to find. Thanks for sharing. Looks like some really useable stuff compared to what is around here.
