I picked up a used Devilbiss GTI gun with a 1.5 tip. I want to use with DP and K36 type primers. What size tip would be recommended with the GTI gun to split between the two :

    Thanks

Click under tech info on english. The orifice will be determined whether you are shooting it for a primer surfacer or a wet on wet primer sealer. The surfacer will prefer a larger tip, such as a 1.6- 1.8, although I shoot it a bit thinner. You really don't need two quarts/parts of color, I use one, which makes it build a bit more. I use a copy of the gun you mention. No need to use your nice guy with primer. Harbor freight sells $20 guns that shoot primer very well.
