I am interested in making a kustom grille and bumpers for a project which will require cutting, welding and grinding . I read somewhere small sp0ts could be soldered with lead solder . Small scratches and and simalar spots. thanks for input
Anything soldered has to be a perfect clean spot without pits that can't be tinned. Yes, you can "float" the solder over a spot that just won't tin correctly, but you will leave acid under there, and it will pop out later.
