Who made em/ got a part #. I like the way yours look / and if I only have to cut and re-angle the cluster and collector - effort saved. They have to be at least 1 3/4 though - my experiance on a tube injector says anything smaller will kill the whole curve. Have built many sets - but time is not on my side right now.
    Thanks for any info.

Known fact . As this came from the horses mouth/ crow was even sitting on his back( had 8's and A's in his hands at the time).Valvoline/ napa are one in the same . Napa spends no money advertising /pushing the house brand. But it comes from the same facility /plant. I have run the napa straight 40 or (50 weight when I could find it ) for years when we were running a blown chevy straight six/on methanol/ gasoline/ and or some other stuff that I used to throw in there with either to keep up when I didnt have enough motor/ or sense enough to be scared( translation to broke to care), but then Id have to kill -lol. I sold that engine off the hamb board to a guy in CO to put in a street ???? 55 chevy- I have heard that car keeps him in a lot of trouble. :)
All jokes aside- this came from the supplier- saw no future in paying double for a name on the bottle. I also like the Brad Penn / basically kendal of old. I know - I should have gone to synthetics buy now according to the rest of the world , but my machinist/my wallet/ and my parts breakage-( as in lack of it) tell me a different story. Even put it on the dyno- didnt see enough difference to warrent the price of a full on synthetic. not as often as we changed it.The real truth is that most of your modern oils theses days are on about equal footing - especially if you have a good machinist/a good filter/ do good common sense maintaince/ and live right . Yea I know that last one gets us some times.
That is the truth of what I have been using for ever. I have seen it at times when it was over a buck and a half cheaper per quart. Look and see the layer of dust on it when its been on the shelf and bring that up/ it gets even cheaper lol.

For the record I usually bought it buy the case. My machinist is 80 plus (But is as good as they come/ modern in ability but old school common sense.)as in the notorius Marion Fairchild- Match raced all over in the 60s. He used to love to pick on big sponser / factory backed guys.He was owner /driver/ builder of countless early funny cars- to name a few - he actually owned the Old JC south( liberty motors car) for a while./ Cyclops/ Mississppi Rebel- which was actually built by a round track racer named Jerry Inman.
He used to take the injected bbc/ or hemi- he ran both with a clutch flite or turbo - un blown and beat em all pretty regular.Early tracks were not that good. he hooked -they could not :)

That's super cool! What's the history on that one? Looks 60s show car, but nicely preserved. Was it a raced body?

We have found very little history on this car. Ran the Ohio strips in the mid to late '60s.

If anyone can pass on information about this car, it would be truly appreciated.

Several altered chassis floating around cheap. Make a great kill yourself quick kit. But it would be fun.

Got a little work done today. Finally got the fit I want. Now gotta get mounting flanges spaced and welded. Then pull back out and do the final polish.

It is a two piece to fit around the bars. Also will put the mc on the fire wall , but I have to build a plate and weld to cross bar first. Not a big deal will do it like the Willys. Same assembly etc.
I was pleased with the fit. Steering column is next. Till next week

Today's work. Got the steering column and the brake pedal assembly installed. Believe it are not I actually have a lot of room. No I am not a midget.Gonna fab a dash. Not willing to cut the stocker up. It's flawless even the clock worked when the car was stock and I first got it.

Steering is complete. Also got the mc mounted. I took the liberty of taking a photo or two from the top. Used the reversed corvair box and cross steer. It is perfect. Rolls and steers perfect and effortlessly. Got a lot done this week.

Interesting mount for the Corvair box. I don't think I have seen one used with a cross-steering set up. Nice to learn something new everyday.
