Anyone used the powerstick mufflers?? They look like glasspacks but have chambers in them. Here is a video of a car with them and you can see them behind the rearend. I think they sound bitchin but a little raspy when he revs it up, but maybe thats because the small dia pipes. I bet they would sound cool on a flathead?? http://youtu.be/iXK-lTkRXBY
A friend of mine has them on a mopar and they sound great! There is a thread on here too but I cant remember who posted it with a bunch of videos of different cars. I for one would definitly get a set. The only reason I dont have them on my truck is my exhaust is all new and I really dont want to cut into it yet. But Iam planning on a set for the 54.
I thought I saw them in jegs one time but I cant find them in their catalog anymore. where else could one pick up a pair??
http://www.portermufflers.com/ Alliance Vendor and these babies are handmade in the U.S.A.! Just sayin'...
I want to make a shameless plug for a friend's company and his mufflers, also made in the USA, well, the California part anyway. FloJo Mufflers. http://www.flojomufflers.com/ I can say from experience they sound good. Cheers RustyNCA
I have true duals on my O/T 2000 Z28 with an X-pipe and Sweet Thunder mufflers. They're the same thing as a Powerstick. It sounds amazing...definitely made my LS1 sound like something from the 60s.
Yep, not sure what it means either, but they sound good on the car. Finally I have a system with a nice tone and does not have the damn drone the flowmasters had.
