Guys; If you have a pic of an old enclosed dragster trailers, post a pic. I'm trying to start a registry to find out who used them, and who might still have one or more. Post away !! thanks Rick
Ok, just incase you didn't get the concept..this is the kind of trailer I am looking to see..There must have been some out there !! post away..
I called the guy who used to build these ,but he didn't really remember much about who bought ,what colours. So,I have to rely on anyone who made have seen one with this colour scheme. It's a metal flake gold with a copper accent.. So,anyone?
mr.2performance. seeing Mikes inspired me to take a shot with this one..His turned out VERY nice.. I can only hope.. saw it in Drag Racer magazine thunderrock..most had a wench to pull the car in,and side doors to climb in to strap the car down. Thanks
Here are a couple. As dragsters progressed (regressed?)to longer wheelbases, Warren and Coburn cut slots in the front of the trailer so the car would still fit.
Most Mr. Eds had front wheel holders which allowed you to just strap the back down and go. Kinda hard with that Coburn car though!
And here's were we are today..Need to put the dnders back on it oh, just got word of ONE of these for sale.. someone here was looking for one a while back. 1939fiat
