Got this in January 2017 for the 62 - Builder/Owners Pick at PWOW
Picked this up at a local car club event for "Best Truck"

ALWAYS APPRECIATE THESE TYPES OF HAND CRAFTED AWARDS

Don't have a picture, but when our car club added an "Unfinished" class at our shows I was responsible for the trophies for 1-3 (since it was my idea to add the class). Simple. I raided leftover trophies from previous years. Found 3 that had several parts to them and took them all apart. Primed all the gold/chrome pieces. 1 was gray primer, 1 was red and 1 was black. We then got new plaques that stick on front of the trophy. 1st thru 3rd got primered trophies that were completely taken apart and and handed to them in a zip lock 1 gallon baggie.....unfinished. Was a big hit.

Nice I need to get started one the one I do each year.

 

Made these three for last years show. The top cat, the hot rod and the Boyds. Didn't stripe them though. My buddy Kobbie did.

Here's a old one. It's a lowering block.

 

Making a couple trophies for the local car show in about a month.....one down and one to go. Approx. 12" wide by 14" tall. Model T grill with a painted (one-shot) insert. Gary

 

Here's the one I did for our Inliners International show earlier this month.

 

I can't take credit for the idea, but they are fun to make.
