There probably is an unwritten law someplace out there, but there are exceptions to every rule, (law). The tunneled Caddy,s lights are spot on IMHO. This 40 being and seeing what is, the Chevrons would be out of place.
Speaking just for myself only, changing this truly ionic classic Ford deemed sacrilege by many, IE: : ( gross irreverence toward a hallowed person, place, or thing), into what it has become, justifies the end results a thousand times over.

YES IT IS - 504 CUBES - 700 H/P - This car is chubby at 4,100# in weight. The Boss 9 really pulls strong. Has 4.56 gears and TKO 5 speed Tremac overdrive. My Gold 39 has a 327 with 30/30 cam and 4.44 rear and Columbia 2 speed with a Muncie 4 speed trans.

WOW, I wonder if it's a survivor, or a new build. I've never seen that one at any North West show.

I think I remember that car from the late 70's. I have long forgotten the owners name but I think the car was located in Everett WA area at the time and was a light metallic green. I know I have a picture of it somewhere. Maybe my ex wife has it.....
