My all steel 35 Chevy. Body #507 of only 647 made by GM (Holden's) in Australia. Fisher (US) only made 217 phaetons in 1935

Here is my dad's '36 Phaeton he has owned since July 4, 1955...bought it for $400 of his paper route money when he was 14 and still has it today. We are in the process of restoring it...it was a hot rod and will stay that way :)

This is one of my favorite cars, This pic is from the early 80s in St.Charles Missouri. I think it ended up going east somewhere but I know they F!!! it up with goofy stripes, chrome wheels and fat tires. But this is how I will always remember it.

IMHO,,,Lots of cheap OLD FOUR DOOR 1930's -1940's SEDANS could be converted into a convertable top Phaeton

1938 Buick Roadmaster Sport Phaeton. This Buick, is one of only 350 Roadmaster Model 80C four-door Sport Phaetons ever built.

That picture is a Great one. Many of my current loves are all captured right there. I was 4 months old at that time and I'm pretty sure my Dad snuck that one in the crib to me. Because 38 years later I had a Phaeton after lusting for one for well 38 years. As for the Boobs, surfing, and pretty young women that's just genetics :)

Here's my P'ton as it is today-

Great thread Chris, I'm hoping this spurs your Dad's desire to get his going.
