Poorman's show in plain city Ohio

Sunday the 29thof July is our poorman's show in plain city Ohio hosted by the buckeye rod builders. Usually another club member starts a thread before I do, but I didn't see one. Grass parking, big shade trees, good time! Who all is coming out this year from the HAMB??? It lookS like I'll be cruising my 50 ford f1 so make sure and say hello!

bmita all you have to do is google or if ya got a gps load up the address
pain city is on st rt 42 about 15 mins n/w of i270 near cloumbus ohio
you ar also welcome to camp the night before too
mostly primitive sites but a very nice bath house with nearby grocer for goodies

Riiiiight... It is the 29th

 

I'll be there again this years with my red primer 40 Tudor. It was a Standard but I put a Deluxe nose on it last year.

 

We also have a swap meet. $10 per space (unlimited size). The swap is under a large,covered shelter house.

 

Some club members will be camping Saturday night.Feel free to join us.

 

First 25 cars to register get a free event shirt. Registration opens at 8:00 AM

 

Also, we just got a nice,new swimming pool at the park.

 

Lots of games for you and your kids, and a pretty nice playground.

 

Wow.. a cool car show and all that other crap for the wife and kids...too bad its so far away!

 

It's worth the drive from Dayton....and yes we pride ourselves on putting on family oriented events. I think this is our 33rd annual show.

Not going to make it this year, but today I wore the shirt from my 2008 visit. Good show!

 

If you like camping its a good spot. There's 20/30 amp plug ins and bath house.

 

I should probably be working & not on the HAMB.....bump

Camping is only $20 per night, with electric. $18 for seniors. There are plenty of electric sites to go around.

Okay, silly question, but if this is a single-day event, why the camping? Is that for people who come in the night prior? I live in the local area, so it's no concern of mine. I'm just wondering...does this show get enough of a long-distance draw that camping is needed? Or is there a big, balls-out party afterwards and people need a place to sleep it off (which would be awesome, by the way)?

 

Is there a cost to enter a car? What time does registration go till?
