Still got stock rear on this. Paint is more important [emoji23] got a hold of a 10bolt posi instead so no Volvo anymore[emoji1303]
But the 1031 or 1041 rear from Volvo 940 is pretty solid, lotsa people use them in drifting here in Sweden.

Pulled down my temporary paintboot and could finaly see another perspective of the car. Im pretty satisfied by the way it turned out. Fenders and rear doors arent painted at the same time as the rest of the tangerine layers but it looks like ive got it to match properly [emoji2] must be luck [emoji23] [emoji1303] [IMG][IMG]

Your paint looks excellent! That must have been quite a lot of work. Saying that however it seems to be more of a more modern era like the current low rider craze in SoCal. The oldtime customs weren't quite that elaborate from my recollection. Still, as I said it looks great!

I feel like I am watching one of those unrealistic reality car programs! From primer to taped out to killer custom paint in about three posts! LOL

Love it man, what an amazing look!

My Wife is on my ass with A firetorch [emoji23] had this thing stripped down to bare metal in mid january. Silver and flake in february. Pulled an 80 hour week at easter and did most of the layers and a first clearcoat. The fenders and doors was in pretty bad shape so thats taken some time since . But now the Hood is primered so its getting there [emoji16]

I think its an era thats in its spring here in Sweden. Sure we got a lot of lowriders and such and the paintings are starting to show al around the country but there aint many lowriderpainted bombs yet. Not like this anyway . And thanks alot [emoji2] im no pro just an old greaser whit a spraygun[emoji23] havent done anything like this before, just a couple bikes and regular paintings [emoji2]
