Customs Pontiac Chieftion wagon tail lights

Have any of you guys seen the 55-56 Pontiac installed on a 55 Chevy? I noticed some the other day, and it made me want to put a set on my 55. They sure look like the same thing, but I didnt get that good of a look at them.

 

The rear fenders are the same as a 55 Chevy wagon so they will fit.Kind of pricey when you find a set though.

 

Had a 55 delray that had them, Myself, I prefer the chevy lights.

 

Look for 56 Buick Lenses or Custom Lee Lenses Thy look much better using the original 55 Chevy housings. Both are Traditional as All Get Out !!!.....Jeff

 

IIRC it's a bolt on swap.

 

If you find the housings the replacement lens are almost impossible to find.

 

Yeah I think that will be the hard part. There is a Pontiac wagon at the local wrecking yard, but ofcourse the lenses are broken. Damn!
