I found a nice set of 1954 Pontiac beltline trim that I would like to put on my 1954 Chevy 2 door. Does anyone know if it's a exact replacement.

Yes,if the lines on both beltline mouldings match up,it will fit.

  5. The belt trim should bolt on fine. My '50 Chevy has most of the windows out of a Pontiac in it, they shared shells in 53-54 too.

i have the same. youll probably have to cut the Chevy trim and lap the Pontiac trim over. it has a weird clip that most likely im am going to make. to hold it on the belt line under the quarter windows. its very similar to the Chevy molding.

these clip questions come up all the time. any auto body supply store will have a bunch of different clips in stock, and could probably order obscure ones if needed.
