pontiac and olds dist?

    does anyone know if a 370 poncho and a 371-394 olds run the same distributor?

    No, but if you're looking for an Olds distributor, a '49-'58 will work in a '59-'64 engine if you change the gear to the newer style. If you're looking for a Pontiac distributor, they're everywhere, and are like SBC in that they interchange from '55 right up to the end, except for the ultra rare SD that you'll never see anyway.

    so if i was looking for a magneto for a 62
    i counld use a 49-64 olds
    are there any other gm interchanges that would work?
