Buy a vendor space, and park there.

 

Pretty sure there is a KOA across from the Fairground on the eastside.

 

If you're up for this, it's the way to go. Many deals happen the night before when sellers are unloading.

 

If you have a vehicle that falls into their classic parameters, you can crash in your car. KOA is actually very busy and usually full. As mentioned, the best deals are fro 10 pm to 6 am.
