I am painting the back half of my frame on my truck including the rear end (bed and cab still on), figured might as well since I was lowering it so had everything off anyways. I am using por15 and their chassis black top coat. I have done 2 coats por15 and just did 1 coat of the chassis black do you think 1 coat is enough or is a 2nd coat of the top coat needed? I figured it is mostly just for uv protection. What do you guys think?

If you have enough material, I would second coat it just to make sure you didn't miss any spots...they won't show up until it starts to fade. Although a tiger striped frame might be cool ;)

I,ve heard that a second coat has to be applied before the first coat is dried, Otherwise the second coat won't adhere.
