Plymouth overdrive transmission

    Hey guys and gals I'm looking at a 1954 plymouth 3 speed with overdrive to put in my 41 (I believe its a borg warner) anyway whats the going price for a good one of these?

    Last week I found one on another forum and posted the info over at www.p15-d24.com the asking price was $350. I have heard of folks paying 2-3 times this amount.

    He's right. Working ones are expensive, and no, you can't just take the similar overdrive off a Ford and put it on your Mopar. You can't even take the o.d. off a Mopar tranny and put it on a Mopar non-o.d. tranny.

  5. damn I've got 2 plymouth o.d.'s and one gm o.d. that came with cars attached and have only $350 total invested. but the last one I saw for sale was $350 also

    Great tannys. Had one in my V8 powered 55 Plymouth. Great mileage
