Datsun 4cyl hemi uses bakalite boots they should work
  4. Depends on whether or not you care about what the boots look like and if the motor is going to stay dry.
My son has been running bone stock Chevrolet straight end standard wires in his 55 desoto with a 291 hemi for nearly 8 years now. He buys the long wires and custom cuts and re-crimps them to fit.
He drives his car everywhere, like everyday 300+ days out of the year.

They are about 1/4 the price of the Hemi wires that have those high dollar custom boots but they do a good job. He has went thru two sets of wires in the 8 years.

Uses long necked angled needle nose plyers to install and remove off the sparkplugs.

Also do a search on here - there was a thread some time ago that talked about a certain era porsche plug wire and connector that was dead cert for the hemi's
Ebay sometimes has hemi wires but zI do not recall whether they have the right ceramic/rubber boot

Generic Accel/Mallory will work if you are running the wire covers, if not just ad brake cyl. seals to the wires as you make them up, 68 or so Mopar

The expensive part of any Hemi wire set is the insulators and as noted, there are several others, including M Benz, that can be used if you do not have the originals. Just make sure that the wire are long enough. The 426H set is readily available but two of the wires are waaay long and two are waaay short.
If you are crimping new contacts on random length wires buy a quality crimping plier.
Also, a boot removal tool is useful...
