I kind of like it. Kinda grows on you. Keep it simple. I think I'd go with the sports car theme. Maybe some Chrysler spoke wheels, simple bucket seats. Lots of good '50s engines. The hemi. would be a good choice. Maybe a baby hemi.

Now thats funny right there!!!......thats what I was thinking but did not have the guts to say it here.....LOL

  7. Cragars waould be too modern IMO. I think something sportscar-ish, like wires with knock-offs, Jaguar wheels? Of course I love chrome reverse on just about everything.

Maybe someone can photoshop some wheels on here? I think it needs a hood, maybe even those (fake?)exhaust pipes that came off the hood sides on the Mercedes SSK?

Gotta post just to keep track of this one............

Needless to say, I doubt you will pull up beside another one.

Take your time and research. You may yet get a pleasant surprise.

Just glad it's in the hands of someone who will appreciate it or make sure it gets with someone who will.

I like the sound of a baby hemi. A friend of mine has a Desoto/trans of the right year that would look soooooo cool in it.

Not trying to make a sale, just saying how bitchin it would be to see the right combo with it.

    GOOD LUCK ! ! ! !

That thing can be really cool with half a chance!
My first thought would be to lose the roof and redesign the windshield...add a hood to make an open Sports Rod from it. Some chrome reversed wheels and moon caps for a Sixtie's vibe.
Maybe a short hoop roll bar just to balance it out visually.

Wouldn't take much more than that for me. Car HAS to remain simple.

Pretty fricken cool whoever built it .
I think back 50's style when it was probably built, Olds 394 or buick nailhead may be more economical than a hemi and almost as cool .

The rear fender kind of look like they could be 1935-37 Ford pickup

    Tell them to go away.

That is a very wild car and it looks like some of the "sports car customs" from the late 50's.

Pretty neat ride. Sorta reminds me of some the old Lindberg, Pyro or Palmer car kits from the '50's.

I like the idea of wire wheels with a hot six and the roadster (loose the top) look. Could be a real cool car!

I could see it in a large metallic chunk blue white folding top white under the fenders and under carriage. A bunch of chrome ala 1961.

sorry white and blue trim interior.

  24. Seems like somebody was trying to do a french look on an old plymouth. It has a touch of Bugatti feel to it.
Could be fun, and it will certainly be different.

It has some neat parts but not the lines I would expect from the Barris shop. Many possibilitys though and a good start any way you look at it.
