please post pics of sbc 283 w/ headers

I have a 28 A coupe and I'm looking at different headers to put on it. I have an idea of what I want but I know nothing of different kinds and such and haven't really seen any pics that give me an idea of what they'll look like on. I do know I'm partial to the full length headers (from the ones I have seen). But I'd like to see pics of headers actually on the coupes. I've searched the net, this site, other sites, and so on and I cant find very many. Just regular posts. Any pics would be great. Thanks for the help!

I can relate to that.... nice

 

Clearance for "full length" headers may be an issue in an A coupe. I liked these from Edelbrock because they were so tight & clean. I like tight & clean.

I forget what they call these. They are a new design.

Well I looked them up on my blackberry and they show fine. Must be the pc. And damn those are tight!

not to hijack the thread, but what headlamps are those?!

 

Are those the same that Speedway sells? Do you have a shot straight on from the front to show how far out the go from the block?

 

They look like '28-'29 Model A to me. Cool truck.

EDIT- scratch that! After seeing better pictures, I have no idea.

 

These were either Eagle or Sanderson headers, please excuse the mags, it was twenty years ago.
