My wife has been applying crackle paint to wooden signs for years and I've wanted to try it on a piece of metal so I pulled one of my stock 32 dashes off the wall and gave it a shot. It came out pretty wild looking.

Are you going for the ultimate patina look?

That dash sure could use a paint job.

I've always loved the patina look but it always makes me want to take it home and sand blast it and paint it. Maybe having this dash on my wall will be therapeutic for me.
