Event Coverage PIX: Custom Car Revival at Edward's Drive-in

Good show in Indianapolis this past Saturday! Hope this evolves into a big show. The theme was to have a show of just 50's styled customs, nothing else. They kind of wanted everybody to keep their car's all closed up for the sake of photography, as customs typically look best that way.

 

Not a big show but an impressive turnout of customs for sure, some from a couple states away. Only about an hour drive for me though. I took the red 56 Chevy seen in this group of photos.

 

It was a rare sight around here to see such a fine example of customs these days!

Holy cow! Some REALLY nice kustoms turned out for the show. This one should definitely grow legs and become a big event with a showing like that.

 

The VooDoo Kreeper is a very cool car.

Did they bring VooDoo Idol, too?

 

No Voodoo Idol, just the Kreeper sporting fresh paint and interior this year.

However I've already heard complaints about "elites" where's the hot rods and/or gassers etc: Please keep it pure just for 40's '50's early 60's Kustoms! Thanks!
