**PISTONS AND PAINT 5** Registration begins!

Hey friends! We’re open for pre-registration at the Pistons and Paint world headquarters! This one promises to be a good-un! Pre-registration runs until Monday November 6th, so if you have an interest in showing or vending, let’s go!

*Saturday November 11th, 2006
*North Texas Fair Grounds
*2217 N Carroll Blvd, Denton, TX
*12pm – 6pm
*Featuring pre-1965 hot rods and customs
*Live striping and painting in the Paint Slingers Booth (**Painters! Instead of having a space to show finished work, we’ve decided to provide covered tables where you can work side by side with other painters and let the public ooh and ahh over your crazy skills!!)

After the show, live music at 9pm, Dan’s Silverleaf (103 Industrial St, Denton, TX) from:
*Cowboys and Indians
*High School Caesar backing up
*Wanda Jackson

If you make it in early on Friday, join us at 8pm, Nov. 10th at
Dan's Silverleaf for DJ Repo, Hot Rod movies on the big
screen, cold beer and the meet & greet!

**some people have been asking about the bowling tourny, no dice friends! They've shut down the one place we used last year, so we've opted with a meet and greet at Dan's. Speaking of that Friday, there's been interest in the Denton Dragway just north of the show. You are more than welcome to check the schedule and head on over for a run or two and then meet us back at Dan's Silverleaf. There will be no organized club event there that evening, it's stricly come and go as you please. Check the site and call before you make the trip over there dentondragway.com and be safe! We wanna see you the next morning at the show!**

yup. our tribute to the honest one....no bowling tourny, they sold the joint, we have that effect on lanes come on out to dan's that Friday before!

Man ,I dont know what it is but apparently Chupacabras are the kiss of death for Bowling alleys! Bring it on Buzzy! I saw what your best run was and I believe it was a little better than my best run. Did you look at the time slip from our race? Pretty darn close!

Hell yeah-weather should be nice and cool and with a colder beer, I'm set! Nice show the other night, by the way. Friend had never been out to the Continental Club or a show like yours and she really dug it!

Man Buzz you might have stumbled onto the greatest idea yet.
What would everyone think of going to the dragstrip just north of Denotn on Friday night before PNP? it cosats $15 to race your car, $#10 to spectate. its an 1/8th mile track and its test n tune night so you can run anything.

I just dont know if I would do to much singing, Give me some slicks and you are history. 13.0 to 13.5 just aint enough to brag about. I am in for some Friday night racing for sure and I want you in my first round of competition But you are still the man, Where the pics of your trophy from Saturday

Careful, he's leaving in drive and running with his air cleaner on. There's plenty left in that bucket. Oh, and the trophies for the drags are the green, folding kind!

Now that I've stumbled on this great idea, I hope I can get the coupe up there. I know Angie will want to bring the Shine-O-Matic again, since she got the Them! Tulsa pick last year. And I'm not sure I want to pay for gas for both cars. And I got a nasty howl in the rearend. I figure out what that's all about tomorrow night. We'll see.

Do they only run 1/8 mile there? Even for street cars?
