A few photos from the show...A lot of which has already been posted but there's a few that I didn't see in the other threads
Thanks for the post. I'm with you on that Chebby coupe from Van TX -- it was full of great details. And I always like seeing those Calvert cars -- the Willys and the unrestored rail job with Mr. Buford providing the muscle. Neat ... but the dog pic is maybe even neater!
That's about it...I would have taken more but we had to cut out early because we had been experiencing some engine trouble during the trip and had a long drive back to Amarillo. I was having to stop every other town to pull the valve cover off and oil the top end.....looks like I was not getting a good flow to the rocker assembly. I'll definitely be back next year.....great show!!
It was kool to meet ya, I guess ya got home ok? I said an extra prayer for ya when I heard about your engine problems. Thanks for posting the pics Happy trails, Mick
The guys name is Scottie Moody from Denison TX...he isn't on the HAMB as far as I know. Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
Mick.....likewise... yes we managed to make it home...just took a while longer than it should have...but, I did manage to limp it home without tearing anything up. It is definitely worthy... next year we'll have a good group making the trip from Amarillo
