Pin up Girls on my 32 Hot Rod

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Frenchy Dehoux, Dec 6, 2010.

  1. Finally had my two Pin Up Girls air brushed on my 32 by a friend Asher Emerson ( Po'Boy ) of Chandler AZ. This is just the start as Asher will be doing a bit more for the back ground. On the left side will be " Miss Jacqueline " after my Grand Daughter who is now 4 1/2 years old and loves to help me in the garage. On the right side will be " Lil Violette " for my other Grand Daughter who has past away this year after living 44 days with Leukemia. The other reason why I wanted to put their names is just a tribute to both of them and I feel very good about doing this. Let me know what you think of them. Also both Pin Up Girls have a bracelet on them with the name Violette and a Violette flower in their hair.

    Thanks !
    Frenchy

I am sorry to hear about your grandaughter. The pinup look is right out the WWII era. Looks fitting and your friend does some fantastic work!

Very nice work .... looks good.

  5. Frenchy, the guy that did those pinups needs to sign the door in your garage.
Shoot, scrub out my name if you don't have room for his signature...
    Looks outstanding.

Sorry for your loss...paying tribute to those that we love and are gone, is always a good gesture....titled one of my past exhibits for my older sister who passed away...

  11. I like it! Very nice! I'm sorry to hear about your grand daughter. I think it's a great tribute.

  12. Hopefully if the car is accepted for the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona it will be there. I thank all of you for your kind words as it is very difficult to deal with this tragic loss.

    Thanks
    Frenchy

So sorry for your loss Frenchy; losing a loved one is never easy; especially when theyre young and have so much ahead of them :(

I think the pin-ups came out amazing. very "tastefully" done, and very classy. They look great.

Its a great way to always have your granddaughters with you whom you probably cherish more than anything in the world. Its the best way any hot rodder can pay tribute to the ones they love. Looks great! Very classy Frenchy.

Beautiful Pin-up work. Asher is an incredibly talented artist. Both pin-ups are great tributes. Sorry to hear about your loss, Frenchy. Very tragic.
