My 8yr old daughter just out of the blue told me she wanted to learn to pinstripe. Whats a good brush to get the ball rolling? She has asked me twice for brushes and paint. Thanks for any help.
I prefer the series 10 sword striper by Mack, but there's lots of others on the market. Check these guys out if you don't have a local supplier. http://www.coastairbrush.com/categories.asp?cat=21
A used 00 mack. Just gave one away today at a car show to a young-un, He seemd like a potential to keep this art alive. Mikey www.mikeyspinstriping.com coming soon... "VROOM! The Car Guy's Guide to Success in Life and Business" It's not all about the cars.
If you can grab a mack 20/000 from the local parts or paint supply, that would make a fine starter brush. I took several to billitproof detroit a few years back so my kids could try some lines. Every kid that came by ended up giving it a go. It was fun watching the kids pull lines, just had to help them keep the brushes wet so thay didn't pull all the hair out of the brushes. I had some marble toned lucite panels for them to stripe on.
