Super cool build! This is the original spirit of Hot Rodding
Exactly what I would do if I had talent(&time&parts)... (this is the dream I'm working on to reach...)
    Congratulations, Man!

    Nice!

I wonder how the latex house paint will stand up?

  15. Glad to see you are alive and well. ;) lol

  16. If I don't get my Uni fixed by this weekend I my have it out there for the Nov. meet.

  17. Doesn't really matter as this body will be coming off soon in favor of a better one I picked up recently. Patch panels are going in the lower typical rust areas right now and the firewall being recessed for the V8. I plan to finish it in Red (regular polyurethane auto paint) with black fenders and running boards. I will probably drop it slightly in the front for a little rake and then leave it somewhat stock looking. I like it as is but as with most projects this one is fluid and will change as my fancy does. Great thing about cars like this, nothing is permanent. ;)

  20. The only ones I've seen for "Big bore" are from Best or Speedway. Felpro may have some but I haven't looked into it. This one is .080" over 3 1/16".

  23. ...now that looks like a fun car!,...I like em a little rough around the edges, ...now I see you're switchin bodies;...hope someone grabs the green one and builds it back up.
...as far as latex house paint holding up,...don't it hold up on houses?
