  1. Part 1. Too many cool cars and not enough time. In case you couldn't make it, hope you enjoy some of these ...:D

    Interesting spreader bar.

I love the stance and overall look of the following pair of T-buckets. First one (blue) is Jim Unruh of Lions Hot Rods. Second one (purple) I believe is from MI. Amazing similarities -- is there a connection or just pure coincidence?

  6. Must apologize, but I've got a "rod" fetish. There were lots of cool customs and I'm sure somebody of that persuasion will post.

I LOVE this car and this style...even non-gasserfied full fendered hot-rod A's are awesome.

Can anyone tell me what this is? I saw it in a Rod and Custom once, and I've seen pictures of it, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what the body is based off of. It's not VW, is it? I kinda like it, for it's creativity, but it's going to make my head explode if I don't find out what it was built out of.

  11. I agree. Thought this deuce in particular was very close to what I recall seeing in the gas classes in the early to mid 60's. Ford FE-powered. Grew up around a local that was very similar except McCulloch supercharged 312 Y-block Ford powered.

  12. There is a feature on this car in the Wizz mag #2 or 3 i think?. I'll check when i get home..

The 32 pictured is a newer build. The car a few years back had wooden running boards and ugly blue crap on the sides.. It was priced at 10k and made it to a few shows before it sold... The guy that has it now did a bunch of work and made her look pretty!! and has plenty of go now:D .. Did the 1/4 windows still have the glass eched??

  30. well....not really. the car is owned by a friend of mine. Jerry Walker aka "porkchop". that is an old drag car from the 50s/60s that used to run a setback jimmy engine. the engine was in the drivers compartment and the driver sat in the trunk. the holes were for the exhaust to exit through. he told me he played in the car when he was 12 years old when it was still a drag car.
