I did a search and didnt find anything, and this may not be entirely on topic, but it is is traditional or at least it has over 80 years of tradition and it does involve stripped down Model Ts racing on a dirt track.

www.tillamookfair.com and click on the PigNFord link

I have a video of this somewhere at the house that I recorded years ago. It looks like it would be a scream if you could get into the club.

The schedule shows that it starts this Friday, so if you are going to be in the Tillamook County Oregon area this weekend........

I am not affiliated with this event in anyway, it just looks like fun!

Yep. A bunch of the county fairs and most of the rodeos here have these. Pretty fun to watch and it puts a lot of importance on tuning the car to start well with the crank!

I'm guessing that Frontenac conversions are not legal in this class? :D

I had no idea that the pig and ford races were done anywhere other than Tillamook. It looks like it could be as much fun as the mini bike races at the Lonestar Round up.
