piecing together rod with no VIN??

any california boys out there know it i can piece together a sled without a title and have the dmv reincarnate/reinvent some unused or deceased title? or is it must to pay some guy for a car i don't want just to get that title? anyone heard of this working?thanks

 

Yes, you can go to the DMV and get a state assigned VIN.
