The red flathead is a Cadillac.

The Duesenberg runs. The driveline is complete, with all parts in the trans and rear, etc, and it all works. 8 years in it so far.

Thanks for the pics of another geat show. The owner told me he was having trouble with the Duesey running, he thought it was in the valve springs. You got to remember it's straight 8, dual overhead cam, and four valve per cylinder. The door latches and handles actually work.

Yoyodyne, do you know what kind of engine is in your pic with the Offy? The little four cylinder . looks to be OHV, maybe a Chevy? Great pictures.

I was there Sunday, did you see the John Deere tractors? I think they were 1/4 scale. I heard the owner say he had 10 years in the build!! They sounded just like the real thing. I hit this show every year and it's great!!

Builder's name is Louis Chenot, I think from Mo. In the one pic you can see a very large wheeled Fire engine, he built that too. And I've seen a locomotive he built. Incredible detail.

I searched Louis Chenot, to find out more about his work. Fantastically unbelievable!
Among the most complex and beautiful work I have ever seen!
Thanks to noboD for the heads up!

Unfortunately no. I got there after 1 pm and had to make the rounds as fast as I could so didn't get to speak to many people. Does sort of look like Chevy.

Yes, they were neat. Hope I don't get busted for posting these -
