    Those weren't taken with a Brownie that's for sure...

    My old neighbor years ago used to clear out houses to be sold ,he would bring me cool stuff from time to time. These were in a box of old slides...I would have been in diapers then:)

    Exactly where was this drag strip? Looks a little like an airport with the red/white striped fuel tanks in some of the pic backgrounds. Cool looking tower. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

    Those are an absolute treasure find! Not Many pics of action at Ramona. IIRC, it ran for only a few
    years and faded away when Carlsbad opened in 65/66.
