    Hey guys, A good friend of mine just picked up a super clean 53 Ford Customline yesturday, we will be working on it together, he is after a mild kustom. Can i get some pics of fords for ideas? I did a search and didnt come up with much. I will post some pics of the car later. Thanks!

    Thanks. Detoured around Milwaukee for about an hour on the way back home, then got to Fond Du Lac when my carb float stuck, could only run wide open throttle. Died in the middle of an off ramp and Luke the Fish had to chat up the cops while I ran red lights to get to his place.

    Good times. The show was great, first time I was there early enough to see everything. Next year, I'm getting there earlier.

    man, saw your 52 up at Symco..spent 2 separate half hours check her out.
    super clean, nice subtle detail. and i love no chop on these. top is just too good.

    'Mo and Daddy, had a '52 Victoria when I was a kid. My father bought it for me when I was 12 for $10.00. It had a running but smokey flathead with factory Ford-O-Matic trans. It ran, moved, and stopped. Body only had a little rust behind the rear wheels and a Rayco seat cover interior that was in good shape. It was a good teacher. Wish I still had it.

    no iam sorry my search didnt take me to that thread here on the hamb.......its really funny to me how alot of you guys bow down and suck this "search button" nipple.... yes! it is a great tool to have, however when one types in "1953 ford" or "1953 ford pics" you get 20 pages of stuff that that i dont want to look at or have the time to sit and search through... i have been around here awhile now guys i know how the board works, Is it really that bad that i started a thread about something that is on topic and cool? or do you want more of the "here is a pic of my dog in my hot rod thread" or how about the classic...."radial vs bais ply".....
