    Hi all

My dad is in the process of designing a round rebar style bumper for the back of his Model A. He just got access to some neat twisted stock and an in to have it chromed. He wanted me to post on here and see if we could get some pictures for ideas in design and ideas for license plate/ tail light mounting, as well as mounting for the bumper itself to the car. I don't know if rebar is the right term for it but i think you get the idea!!

Any help as always is appreciated

Surely, you MUST be thinking of something that is NOT ugly unacceptable rebar

are you thinking of traditional round stock nerf bars?
    that would be cool....and traditional.....

No not actual rebar,,,, just the best way to describe it ( i think some ground and plated rebar was prolly used back in the day though). I call it a tube rear nerf bar just wanted to be clear.

I'll add a pic of the car it's going on.

Why would one hope he don't know what he means? I, for one, think he knows what he means.

    Am I missing something?

Twisted stock would not look good.

    This would look great!

The trouble with rebar is that after you get done bending it, shaping it. and welding it, it looks like rebar! Lot of surface inperfections and it's pretty brittle.
