Hey, this 'Imitation' is 6" lower, doesn't have 3 gallons of bondo in the top, and runs like a motherfucker....HARDLY AN IMITATION.
Just a better version of how a Chevy truck should look.;)
    But thanks anyways!

I thought this was a photoshop of the one Gringo built? Is this a different truck? I was going to do mine very similar to this with some slight differences. Looks like someone has the same taste I do..What's the story on this? First time I have seen it.

Hey, I've seen the article in "Classic Trucks" on this thing and now this shot, not to mention the Deadend pics and story. Just fuckin right kinda sums it all up, dont ya think?

Should they be chopped? Well, what do all of the viewers think? Between this one, Cole's, and the I-can't-count-how-many's I've seen the answer is obvious. And it looks like 3" is the right amount. Here's a lil thing about the 3" chop...it makes all the windows look very close to the same size depending on what you do to the rear glass. Gringo I said it before...nice fuckin truck man. Nice.

That last one posted by peckerhead, is that your truck?
First I will say that these are my favorite trucks , I have had several through the years . I'm getting a 51 3/4 ton this week good shape ,all stock and original down to the original hand crank .
Anyways normally I don't really care for a big chop with the windshield severely layed back ...But this one hit the mark , I don't know what it is ..but I like it , alot of times when guys chop the tops that much they slope the top to the front to much ,IMO, and then when they don't lay the windshield back any and bring the top down evenly all around it looks like a table top.
But this one just has the right rake on the windshield and the top is sitting just right and it all comes together without distracting to much from the rest of the truck , and the pipes help with that also....the one I just bought is going to be set up like a push truck or garage shop/service truck ,plans are lower way down , moreless like that jimmy from back in the day , I have always liked that one.
Mine being a long bed dropped on the ground with the pipes on the bed rails would just be yelling chop me, aand I just might have to do it...kool truck...oh the Buick lights, you hit it there also...Super Kool.

You can't talk about these trucks and not mention the Dream truck...this is my favorite version of the truck, also this under construction shot I like ,before all the wild stuff was done to it. 20190709_182828.jpeg 20190709_181513.jpeg 20190709_182552.jpeg

Hope you don't mind me posting several pics.
These are some that I have run across online while doing some researching for my build. 15627238070935949765009891565627.jpeg 15627237593078269042079766839476.jpeg 15627235792287613624594688222774.jpeg 15627241763173227666106839549024.jpeg 15627242236758161752518111193241.jpeg 15627244159986634175618895860880.jpeg

    A few more.
The last one pictured , blue one , is a example of what I was talking about in one of my earlier posts.
I had commented on how ,in my opinion ,the top of the roof looked like a table top when severely chopped with out laying the windshield posts back some . Just my opinion 1562724711047626850024885684875.jpeg 15627246380813161488158467114103.jpeg 15627240598178574768151890620147.jpeg 15627240048173919633324984648249.jpeg 15627242900377390468481406084987.jpeg
