[ QUOTE ] heres my daily driver. This is looks bitchen. Any info on it. Is it bagged or how did it get that low, what motor, does it have a different front clip. Any more pics of it.
Actually a cool post...lets me "work" on other people's cars when I'm bored! (Too cold to venture out to the driveway here!) Trailer-Ed's next project HACKED up a bit...
[ QUOTE ] I will drive this down the gravel road this year ;-) [/ QUOTE ] Holy hell! I think you might need some wider tires...
The first one I sold two years ago but I had the pleasure of building it and driving it for two years and over 16,000 miles. Hatch did the paint and body work on this baby. He also got the first full throttle ride in the car. We were both shaking for a couple hours after that one. This is my new project. And do to a move from Michigan home of the Torrid Torquers, to St. Louie MO, I haven't yet got back to work on it. But this is what it looks like right now. The Willys had a blown 392 hemi and the '55 Nomad has a Beck Racing Engines 540 BBC 660 hp. I've got a 9" with 4.11/Detroit Locker in the rear with 36" ladderbars and a computer controlled new 4L80E trans. It will have a stock '55 Nomad interior and look pretty much stock other than no front bumper and the height issue. I haven't posted for many months but still lurk on the side from time to time. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Jeeezus Danny! Nice Willys. Hey is that Linda Vaughn? Posted pics of this one before. Still stock as hell, big plans with shallow pockets... and I like it with the visor. Justin
hey, what year is that truck?it's pretty sweet lookin.i got a ' 65 stepside project i gotta get started on that's gonna end up pretty similar to that. Creepy
Thanks: it's a '57 with a '60 big-window cab. I've since smoothed over the side mirror post holes and front emblem holes, and am looking for some vertical nerf bars to put up front for bumpers (just a lil' something to compliment the bottom rolling pan). Got pics of yer truck?
no pix of the truck yet..it's been sittin in my dad's yard since ' 93 and he's givin it to me whenever i can get it out.i believe it's a c-10 with the stock 6.here's my ' 54 that's still waitin on a new motor
Yes that is the famous Linda Vaughn sitting in my Willys. She had just finished signing my dash with a paint pen. No, I didn't sniff the seat, my wife was watching... I like your project too... Way cool...
Here is a group of some of the Torrid Torquers' rides. Donnie's tub (now gone), Chris's tub, FAB's C-Dan, hatch's roadster and my 37.
