Does anyone have any other pics of this car or any other 64, 65 AWB Chevelles? This is the only one I could dig up of this car. You guys are pretty good, you gotta have something.

  2. Kinda out of place,don't you think? '65 Chevelle? How about a '70 Duster,LOL!!!

  3. Not at all,... I don't think anyway. Style, Altered, same as 64 basically. There was another 65 in the drag cars in motion thread.

We are actually '65 and below... mostly because one of my favorite cars is a '65 Riv, but I gotta admit an affinity to the '65 imp too...

Guess he's going to have to extend the cutoff to 67 now, since those rivi's are nearly identical, but they have a better engine and trans in them.:D

    AHHHHHHHHHHH, THE MADNESS!!!!!!!

Anyone ever notice the 65 Ray Liota is leaning up against in GoodFellas' 1963 scene at the airport?

  22. Speaking of Kelly Chadwick, a friend of mine just found this car in tact. It's being restored right now.

is that a steel body with a glass nose....? brandon:D

  25. Yes. And glass deckild.

Don Hardy verified it. He built 2 cars out of bodies "in the white" GM sent them. Dick Harrell's and Chadwick's. Dick drove Chadwick's some also. This original blue & white is under what's on it now.

I vote for allowing 66 and 67 car discussion on the HAMB but stop there cause I was born in 68 and that would make me OLD.

front grill/headlight trim/ front fender corners are different, tail lights ( as pointed out ) and some of the dash items. In my opinion the 65s look fantastic and the 66s look a little forced for change that wasnt needed.

I remember seeing all of his cars. He used to race here in Amarillo,it was almost his local track.Him and Gene Snow would put on a good match race show with the altered wheelbase cars.
