Technical pic's of how trany crossmember is mounted to frame

    On my 57 I welded threaded bungs into the frame to bolt on the angleiron to the frame. What have others done as far as brackets etc?

    Mine is bolted to the bottom of the frame...

    You sort of did the same thing I did. Fab'd a "strong back cross member and mounted it to angle iron welded to the frame.
